Turmeric Tea

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups of water
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons grated or ground ginger (optional)
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • Honey (optional, to taste)

Instructions
 

  • In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
  • Add 1 teaspoon of ground turmeric and, if desired, 1 1/2 teaspoons of grated or ground ginger.
  • Reduce the heat to medium and let the mixture simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Strain the mixture to remove any solid particles.
  • Add 1 cup of warm milk to the strained liquid.
  • If desired, sweeten with honey to taste and stir well.
  • Serve hot and enjoy your turmeric tea!
